These swim tips are designed to help any active lifestyle recreational or lap swimmer improve their efficient technique. The best water safety precaution you can do is to know how to be efficient to conserve your energy while swimming or just staying afloat.
The curriculum will cover all the same tips I teach parents and beginners and instructors except I will not focus on all the methods and cues I use to teach a non-swimmer or beginner.
Emphasis will be placed on a variety of floating positions and body awareness for streamlining to reduce resistance. I will also explain how to increase propulsion with the least amount of effort to get more efficient distance per stroke for all the swimming strokes. These tips can be most beneficial for triathletes who want to conserve more energy for their bike and run.
